An Introduction In To Huna
The most fundamental idea in Huna philosophy is that we each create our own personal experience of reality, by our beliefs, life interpretations, actions and reactions, thoughts and feelings.
It is not that our reality is created for us as a result of these personal expressions, but that we are creators and co-creators with the Ultimate Creator Itself either by accident or choice .
Huna is all about learning to live and create your life consciously. This concept is not unique to Huna. It is shared by virtually every religion known to man. Sadly, it is seldom widely taught or practiced.
The word, “Huna” simply means, “secret or to keep secret.”
In the 21st century, Huna is no longer a secret system hidden from all but a few “favored initiates.” Being based on the ancient Hawaiian knowledge of how the various parts of the human personality function it teaches how the psyche works, and when you learn the basic principles you will make your life function properly and with the greatest effectiveness.
To make Huna work in your life you will need to learn the inner workings and the control of the three selves. We have our conscious mind, our sub-conscious mind and our Super-conscious mind. When we learn what these minds are, how they work and how to control them, then with ease we create a desirable life.
Huna emphasizes normal living and makes everyday life more successful with less stress. In times of stress, Huna offers effective relief in any situation.
Max Freedom Long said, “If you are not using Huna, you are working too hard!”
The basic moral concept of Huna can be stated in these few words, “Do not deliberately do harm to anything with hate.”
Huna principles can and will work for everyone when understood and correctly practiced.
